Dalton is a shy yet energetic boy with a passion for soccer. Despite never having attended school, he is filled with excitement at the opportunity to finally start his education. After the loss of both parents, his elderly grandmother stepped in to care for him, but she faces significant challenges due to illness and poverty. BTCM has come alongside her to provide the support needed, ensuring that Dalton has every chance for a bright and promising future!

After both of Joan’s parents passed away, she faced significant upheaval when a family friend asked her to leave following their divorce. Now living with her aunt, Joan has shown remarkable resilience in the face of these challenges, and her strength and determination shine through her. Her academic performance is outstanding, and her discipline is commendable. In fact, school leadership has praised her behavior, recognizing her as one of the best students in the entire school!

Immaculate is a kind-hearted and delightful young girl. She loves singing, dancing and playing dogdeball. Her single mother, facing a serious medical condition and without nearby family support, was in need of extra help. BTCM has come alongside to support them both, and Immaculate is now a cherished member of our BTCM family!

When Gertrude’s parents passed away, she and her sister were left entirely on their own. Though relatives initially tried to care for them, they eventually left, and the girls were left with no one. BTCM stepped in and was able to reconnect Gertrude with an aunt, helping to provide the support needed for them to stay together long-term in a stable, loving, and God-centered home.

Hedwig has a huge heart for orphans and has raised many in her own home.  She is passionate about managing the Ugandan staff, helping the children learn about Jesus, and leading the ministry to pursue Jesus more everyday!

A Day in Her Life: Hedwig spends her day vision planning, problem solving, counseling, and discipling staff, guardians, and children.  She also spends a lot of time advocating for children in court, with guardians, and with government officials.  She lives as an example of a strong Godly leader for all our kids to aspire to become.

Francis is very passionate about the Bible and loves the BTCM children. He is incredible with the complicated accounting it takes to manage the ministry, and he is passionate about mentoring our children and being sure they are always learning to follow Jesus.

A Day in His Life: Primarily, Francis can be found behind his computer screen working diligently on the complicated budget of caring for 300+ kids, 50 staff, a Primary school, and the Children’s Homes. He always goes above and beyond, and he is truly a gifted accountant!

Rose is full of energy, a hard worker, and a strong prayer warrior.  She loves encouraging our house moms in their spiritual life.  She would love prayers to remain strong and courageous and manage the house moms with love and grace to improve the children’s welfare.

A Day in Her Life: As the Child Care Officer, Rose’s job is to be sure the best interest of the children is priority and that all children are receiving excellent holistic care.  She ensures there is a Godly family atmosphere in our transitional homes and manages our team of house moms, and leads their discipleship.

Fatina grew up a Muslim.  After becoming a Christian, she knew she wanted to serve in some way.  She loves being able to continue to learn about faith and teach the children of BTCM.  She is friendly and so full of joy.

A Day in Her Life: Fatina loves serving as a house mom each day, caring for a few of our children.  She is also very gifted in organization, and spends a lot of her time organizing and managing all the storage and inventory of items needed to care for our children on campus.

Jesica has a big heart and is full of joy.  She loves being in a BTCM home with the children and helping them grow to know Jesus!

Richard is an excellent social worker and is known for being humble, patient, and hardworking. He is always willing to help when needed and goes above and beyond to serve our children. He is excited about serving the BTCM children and enjoys singing in the church choir.

A Day in His Life: Our social workers champion our children by spending each day getting to know them through mentoring and discipleship. Through this process they ensure each child’s holistic needs–including family strengthening–are being met and come up with solutions for any gaps in care.

Rogers is so loving, caring, and he loves laughing.  He is so friendly to the staff and the children.  He is very excited to serve with BTCM and empower kids and families to thrive.  He loves working with kids and contributing to social change in society.

Elizabeth is so grateful to be a new house mom at BTCM. She is grateful to God that she can serve and honor Him by loving the children. She sees children as a gift from God and wants to share with them the love of Jesus. She is a prayer warrior and believes all things are possible with God. Sponsoring her not only touches her life, but the lives of the children she is serving.

Monica grew up in the BTCM program and has a big heart. She valued being sponsored and the opportunity to get an education. Her heart’s desire is to help others because of the help she received from her sponsors! She loves reading her Bible and leading worship in church on Sundays.

A Day in Her Life: As BTCM’s nurse, Monica’s day is full. She tends to our children that need daily medication, treats children that become sick or injured throughout the day, and takes children to the hospital in emergencies. Medically caring for 300+ children is a life-saving job!

Gorret is so humble, soft spoken, loving and hardworking. She has a lot of experience raising kids and is very gentle and caring. She is excited to be a helping hand to the BTCM children and spend time teaching them about Jesus.

Beatrice is excited to work for a faith-based organization and teach BTCM children more about following Jesus. She loves nurturing and caring for children, and sees this as a really great opportunity to serve Jesus by loving children. She is excited to be a house mom and tend to the needs of the sweet children God puts in her home.

Sylvia serves as a day house mom that helps care for our little babies during daytime hours so that our house moms can tend to other chores and needed duties. She loves doing skits, dramas, and playing dodgeball with the kids!

Lucy has loved being a Sunday school teacher for many years, so she is even more excited to serve as a full-time house mom! She loves the Lord and she is passionate about teaching children about Him. She has 6 grown children of her own and we are excited for her to be a part of the BTCM family.

Petiralina has a deep passion for serving as a house mom, wholeheartedly caring for the BTCM girls. Her love for Jesus shines through as she guides them in prayer and nurtures their faith. With unwavering dedication and a strong work ethic, she pours herself into this important role.

Evelyn always has a big smile and loves our children like her own. She works hard each day to not only meet their physical needs, but to help them grow spiritually and emotionally as well.
